Les mesures de politique et d’administration fiscales de la loi de Finances rectificative intègrent une taxe sur les bouillons alimentaires. Selon le ministre des Finances, le rendement de ces produits s’élèvent à 25 milliards en plus d’être jugés nocifs pour la santé.
Une décision saluée par certains députés tels Aïda Mbodj. « Les bouillons sont une catastrophe pour la santé, les médecins disent qu’ils sont dévastateurs, donc, nous saluons le courage du gouvernement ». Une position qui n’est pas partagée par son collègue Théodore Montreuil. Chimiste de formation, ce dernier soutient que « le danger se trouve dans l’excès » et qu’il serait risqué de mettre une taxe sur ces produits.
Le ministre Abdoulaye Daouda Diallo de son côté a précisé que cette taxe est « prise en charge par le consommateur ». De ce fait, cela ne menace guère l’existence de ces industries encore moins les emplois qu’elles génèrent.
