C’est une dure journée pour le Président du Conseil Economique social et Environnement (CESE), Idrissa Seck. En effet, Mame Fama Seck, a été rappelée à Dieu hier dans la nuit du mercredi 28 juillet à Thiès.

La sœur cadette de Idrissa Seck était par ailleurs, l’épouse de Khalifa Ababacar Mbaye et elle a laissé derrière elle des enfants désormais orphelins de mère.

A en croire la famille proche, Mame Fama Seck était l’homonyme de Sokhna Mame Fama Sy, fille de Sidy Ahmed Sy.

Elle était également connue pour sa maîtrise du Saint Coran qu’elle aimait réciter chaque matin avec les khassida de Mame El Hadji Malick Sy.
