Le Premier ministre malien a passé le cap des 100 premiers jours à la tête du gouvernement. S’il a eu le temps d’effectuer des visites de terrain et d’annoncer l’ouverture de grands chantiers, le chronogramme pour l’organisation des élections n’est toujours pas connu. Il a désormais contre lui une bonne partie de la classe politique malienne qui a décidé de boycotter les Assises nationales de la refondation qu’il projette d’organiser.
Vent debout, plusieurs partis et associations politiques n’entendent pas participer aux Assises nationales de la refondation envisagée par le Premier ministre malien Choguel Maïga. Pour eux, il s’agit d’une manœuvre pour obtenir la prolongation de la durée de la transition qui s’achève en principe à la fin du mois de février 2022.
Tiéman Hubert Coulibaly, ancien ministre malien des Affaires étrangères et président d’Action républicaine pour le progrès, un regroupement de partis, est signataire comme d’autre d’un communiqué officiel : « Nous ne participerons pas aux Assises nationales, parce que nous avons perçu là une manœuvre, dont l’objectif était d’obtenir une prolongation de la transition par une voie non consensuelle. »
L’ancien ministre et les autres signataires estiment également ne pas être « dans un processus inclusif. Et il est aujourd’hui grand temps que nous puissions trouver le moyen d’aller dans ce sens-là. Cela nous éviterait de perdre davantage de temps, mais surtout cela nous permettrait d’avoir une unité -une union – autour de cette transition qui doit réussir, qui doit absolument réussir. »
Certains signataires du communiqué demandent l’intervention du président de la transition pour rectifier le tire.
