Le recours introduit par le candidat de la coalition Yewwi Askan Wi pour la mairie de Kédougou, Moustapha Guirassy, a été jugé et mis en délibéré le lundi 15 novembre prochain.
L’annonce a été faite ce 11 novembre à 23 heures à la cour d’appel de Dakar. La cour d’appel demande une confrontation de la liste présentée par le plaignant et celle qui se trouve au niveau de la préfecture, afin de mettre la lumière sur cette affaire.
Ce procès fait suite au rejet de la candidature de Guirassy pour la mairie par le préfet du département Thierno Souleymane Sow. Le leader du parti SET souhaite être rétabli dans ses droits pour participer aux élections locales du 23 Janvier 2022.
À Kédougou, ses militants étaient très nombreux dans leur quartier général, à attendre la décision finale de la justice.
Ils devront prendre leur mal en patience, car le tribunal a renvoyé l’affaire. Les militants de Guirassy exigent que leur mentor soit rétabli dans ses droits.
