Qualification Mondial 2022: L’Algérie Écrase Le Djibouti Et Prend Ses Distances Avec Le Burkina

La 5e journée des éliminatoires pour la Coupe du monde 2022 au Qatar se poursuivait ce vendredi matin avec le groupe A. L’Algérie retrouvait le Djibouti au Caire après l’humiliation 8-0 à Alger lors du match aller de phase de poules.

Et sans surprise, le champion d’Afrique en titre s’est baladé 4-O face à la modeste sélection djiboutienne. Youcef Belaili, Saïd Benrahma et Sofiane Feghouli se chargeait de faire le break en première période, avant qu’Islam Slimani ne scellait la victoire au retour des vestiaires.

Une très bonne opération pour les hommes de Djamel Belmadi qui se hissaient ainsi seul à la tête du groupe A, puisque le Burkina Faso n’a pas su se défaire du Niger.

Les Etalons s’étaient même retrouvé menés au score pendant près d’une demi-heure. Mais Issoufou Dayo a sauvé les meubles en seconde période (1-1, 54e) après une première mi-temps dominée par Les Menas grâce à la réalisation de Youssouf Oumarou. Le Burkina devra donc impérativement s’imposer à Alger pour rejoindre les barrages.
