La Direction du CROUS apporte des précisions autour du décès de l’étudiant, Badara Ndiaye. La disparition de ce dernier a conduit à une révolte chez ses camardes, lesquels ont incendié le restaurant où lui et plusieurs autres étudiants ont été intoxiqués.
« Suite au décès de l’étudiants Badara Ndiaye survenu le mardi 30 Novembre 2021 à Kaolack, la Direction du CROUS présente ses condoléances attristée à ses parents, ses amies et à toute la communauté universitaire.
La Direction du CROUS précise que l’étudiant Badara Ndiaye s’est effectivement présenté au service médical du CROUS le 18 Novembre 2021. D’après le médecin chef Dr Ahmadou Bamba Guèye, il ne présentait aucun signe d’une intoxication alimentaire. Ainsi le patient a reçu un traitement sous réserve d’un retour de suivi dans les 48 heures. Malheureusement l’étudiant a opté pour un retour à domicile à Kaolack.
Le certificat de genre de mort délivré par le médecin légiste de l’hôpital Aristide le Dantec en exécution d’une instruction judiciaire, renseigne que le patient est décédé des suites d’une maladie hépatique avec défaillance multicéréale.
En s’inclinant une fois de plus sur la mémoire du disparu, la Direction de CROUS appelle à la sérénité de tous et s’engage à continuer le travail pour l’amélioration de la condition des étudiants de l’UAD ».
