Le chef de l’Etat, Macky Sall, a déco-
ré d’anciens dignitaires et dignitaires
en fonction dans les différents ordres
nationaux, lundi, peu après la prise
d’armes marquant la célébration du
62e anniversaire de l’indépendance
du Sénégal.Le président Sall a élevé
le président de l’Assemblée nationale,
Moustapha Niasse, à la ‘’Dignité de
Grand-officier’’ dans l’Ordre national.
Comme le président de l’hémicycle,
Pape Diop, ancien président de l’As-
semblée, ancien président du Sénat et
ancien maire de Dakar, a lui aussi été
élevé à la Dignité de Grand-officier de
l’Ordre national du Lion.La présidente
du Haut Conseil des collectivités
territoriales (HCCT) a, quant à elle,
été faite ‘’ Commandeur ‘’ de l’Ordre
national du Lion.Le président du
Conseil économique, social et envi-
ronnemental (CESE), l’ancien Premier
Idrissa Seck et son prédécesseur à la
tête de cette institution, l’ancienne
Première ministre Aminata Touré ont
également reçu la même distinction.
De son côté, le président de la Répu-
blique Macky Sall a reçu du Grand
Chancelier, le général Meissa Niang,
un cadeau consistant en un statut
de Lion en or et d’un insigne avec
les drapeaux des pays d’Afrique.S’ex-
primant à la fin de la cérémonie, le
président Sall a expliqué avoir choisi
la date du 4 avril 2022, pour remettre
à d’anciens dignitaires et dignitaires
en fonction les décorations après la
réforme du Conseil de l’ordre national
du Lion. Macky Sall souligne que c’est
une occasion pour lui de les ‘’féliciter,
les remercier pour services rendus à la
Nation’’ et les donner en exemple aux
générations actuelles et futures. (Source APS)
