Le risque modéré est prévu sur les localités de Matam, Kaffrine, Kolda, Sud-Linguère, Sud-Podor, l’Est de Kaolack et de Diourbel. Les pics de températures journalières attendus avoisineront les 45°C pour le risque élevé et 43°C pour le niveau modéré.Ces changements de climat ont un impact parfois dangereux sur la santé des populations. «Des coups de chaleur pouvant entraîner un épuisement, syncope, déshydratation sévère ou crampes seront probablement ressentis dans les parties Sud de la région de Matam et Nord-Est de la région de Tambacounda. Un sentiment d’inconfort sera probablement ressenti dans les régions de Kédougou, Tambacounda et Matam.
Un suivi régulier des personnes vulnérables est recommandé, surtout dans la région de Tambacounda, une partie des départements Nord de Kédougou et Sud-Est de Kanel et Ranérou», note-t-on dans le bulletin.Il est donc recommandé d’essayer d’obtenir de l’aide, en cas de vertiges, si on se sent faible, angoissé, si on ressent une soif intense et des maux de tête ou des spasmes musculaires douloureux. Il est aussi recommandé de se placer dans un endroit frais le plus vite possible et de prendre sa température. S’y ajoute qu’il faut boire de l’eau pour se réhydrater.L’avis médical est requis, si les crampes durent plus d’une heure. «Consultez un médecin, si vous ressentez des symptômes inhabituels ou si les symptômes persistent».
