Même si une baisse des nouvelles infections et décès est répertoriée par rapport aux jours précédents, il n’en demeure pas moins que le coronavirus dicte sa loi au Sénégal. 712 cas positifs sont détectées sur un échantillon de 3543 tests, pour ce dimanche 1er août. Selon le Ministère de la Santé et de l’Action sociale, un taux de positivité de 20,10% est ainsi repéré suite aux résultats de ces examens virologiques.
Procédant à la répartition des nouveaux cas positifs, il a déclaré que les malades proviennent de 88 cas contacts suivis par les services dudit ministère et de 624 cas issus de la transmission communautaire ( 307 dans la région de Dakar et 317 dans les autres localités en région).
Les agents de la santé d’informer que 76 cas graves sont toujours admis dans les services de réanimation.
Plus de 14000 patients sous traitement
Pis, ils ont signalé 14 morts liés à la Covid-19, enregistrés, hier samedi 31 juillet dans les structures sanitaires du pays.
En outre, la guérison de 443 patients hospitalisés est annoncée. Ils ont été contrôlés négatifs à 2 reprises. Ceci, dans un intervalle de 48 heures et sont donc déclarés guéris. Et l’Etat des autres malades est stable.
Selon le communiqué quotidien numéro 518 sur l’évolution de la pandémie de la Covid-19, le Sénégal a répertorié depuis le 2 mars 2020, date de l’apparition du coronavirus au Sénégal, 63 002 cas positifs. Ils sont répartis entre 47 579 guéris, 1367 décédés, 1 évacué (finalement décédé en France) et 14055 patients sous traitement.
Hier aussi, 27358 personnes ont été vaccinées portant le total à 833868.
Ce faisant, le ministère de la Santé et de l’Action sociale continue d’exhorter les populations au respect strict des mesures de prévention individuelle et collective.
