Beach Soccer : Macky Sall Offre 10 Millions À Chaque Joueur Et Membre Du Staff

Le président de la République, Macky Sall, a décidé lundi d’élever les joueurs de l’équipe nationale de Beach Soccer au grade de chevalier dans l’Ordre national du Lion et d’octroyer 10 millions de francs CFA à chacun d’entre eux ainsi qu’au staff technique. Les lions, 6 fois vainqueurs de la coupe d’Afrique, ont été reçus cet après-midi par le Chef de l’Etat”, informe la Présidence.

Le président Sall en a fait l’annonce en recevant cette équipe nationale, vainqueur, le 29e mai dernier, de l’édition 2021 de la Coupe d’Afrique des nations (CAN) de Beach Soccer aux dépens du Mozambique (4-1).

“Mes chers Lions, vous nous avez comblés de joie, honorés et rendu fiers. Il est juste que la nation vous honore. C’est le sens de cette cérémonie”, a dit Macky Sall.

“Je suis heureux de m’acquitter de cette dette, aujourd’hui, au nom de la République et de la nation. Ce n’est que justice. En effet, de 2008 à ce jour, votre parcours, comme un trait de lumière, illumine les plages africaines et du monde, éblouit vos adversaires, enchante vos supporters et fascine tous les amateurs du beach soccer”, a souligné le chef de l’Etat
