La Biélorussie: Une Nouvelle Manifestation Contre Loukachenko ce Dimanche.

Après une semaine de protestations post-électorales contre la réélection du président Alexandre Loukachenko, les opposants au pouvoir biélorusse manifestent de nouveau, dimanche, dans plusieurs villes du pays. Face à la contestation, le chef de l’État a demandé l’aide de la Russie, qui s’est dite « confiante », mais n’a pas mentionné de soutien sécuritaire.

Les opposants à Alexandre Loukachenko entendent frapper un grand coup, dimanche 16 août, dans plusieurs villes biélorusses. Les chaînes sur l’application Telegram — moteur de la contestation — évoquent cette journée de dimanche comme la plus importante depuis le début du mouvement.

Encouragés par les événements de ces derniers jours, qui n’ont pas été dispersés comme l’ont été les premières manifestations post-électorales, les protestataires ont appelé à manifester largement à Minsk, mais aussi dans toutes les autres villes du pays, à 14 h (heure locale).

Samedi, déjà, des milliers de personnes ont défilé dans la capitale biélorusse. Le président Alexandre Loukachenko a, de son côté, appelé la Russie de Vladimir Poutine à l’aide.

Le président biélorusse a par ailleurs pris la parole dimanche au cours d’une manifestation pro-pouvoir, appelant ses soutiens à défendre l’indépendance de la Biélorussie.

Des manifestations couplées à un mouvement de grève

Le mouvement prend de l’ampleur en Biélorussie, comme en témoigne Gulliver Cragg, correspondant de France 24 dans la région. Plusieurs usines ont rejoint un mouvement de grève auquel se sont également greffées la compagnie aérienne nationale Belavia et la télévision-radio nationale, dont les techniciens et cameramen disent ne plus vouloir participer à la production de propagande.

Dans les plus hautes sphères, l’ambassadeur biélorusse en Slovaquie est le premier diplomate à être passé du côté des manifestants.

Ce dernier a exprimé, dans une vidéo publiée sur Twitter, sa solidarité envers les manifestants. « Je suis solidaire avec ceux qui sont descendus dans les rues des villes biélorusses lors de manifestations pacifiques, afin que leur voix soit entendue. Les Biélorusses ont obtenu ce droit par la souffrance », a déclaré Igor Leshchenya.
