Affaire Navalny : En Allemagne, Des Voix Réclament Le Recours À « L’Arme Du Gaz » Contre Poutine

En Allemagne, plusieurs personnalités ont appelé les Européens à répondre avec force au Kremlin, après l’empoisonnement présumé de l’opposant russe Alexeï Navalny. Pour eux, il faut « répondre avec le seul langage que Poutine comprenne : les ventes de gaz ».

Au lendemain des déclarations d’Angela Merkel concernant l’empoisonnement présumé de l’opposant russe Alexeï Navalny, plusieurs personnalités en Allemagne ont appelé à répondre sans tarder à Vladimir Poutine en utilisant notamment le levier des ventes de gaz.

L’opposant russe a été victime d’un malaise le 20 août dernier à bord d’un avion entre la Sibérie et Moscou après avoir bu du thé à l’aéroport. Hospitalisé à Omsk, en Sibérie, il a été transféré le 22 août en Allemagne où le gouvernement a déclaré, mercredi, détenir la preuve qu’il avait été empoisonné par un produit de la famille du Novitchok, déjà utilisé contre l’ancien espion russe Sergueï Skripal en 2018 au Royaume-Uni.

« Il doit y avoir une réponse européenne », a déclaré jeudi matin le président de la Commission des Affaires étrangères du Bundestag, Norbert Röttgen, au micro de la radio Deutschlandfunk.

« Nous devons mener des politiques dures, nous devons répondre avec le seul langage que Poutine comprenne : les ventes de gaz », a poursuivi ce cadre de la CDU d’Angela Merkel, auquel la radio allemande demandait s’il fallait stopper le chantier du projet de gazoduc Nord Stream 2 entre la Russie et l’Allemagne.
