Covid-19 : 1045 Nouvelles Contaminations Et 20 Décès

– Le ministère de la Santé et d’Action sociale a déclaré avoir recensé 1.045 nouvelles contaminations de Covid-19 et 20 décès supplémentaires liés à l’épidémie au cours des dernières 24 heures.


Les nouvelles infections ont été détectées sur la base de tests virologiques réalisés sur un échantillon de 3.788 personnes, correspondant à un taux de positivité de 27, 59 %, d’après le bulletin épidémiologique quotidien du ministère parvenu à l’APS.


Le document souligne que 106 parmi les nouveaux cas de contaminations sont des contacts suivis par les services sanitaires, le reste, 939, étant issu de la transmission communautaire.


Dakar et sa région, avec 619 cas, concentrent l’essentiel des ces cas d’infection à l’origine méconnue des autorités médicales. Les 320 autres ont été détectés dans des localités de l’intérieur du pays.


Dans le même temps, 382 patients ont été contrôlés négatifs et déclarés guéris par les autorités sanitaires.


A ce jour, 62.290 personnes ont contracté le virus au Sénégal. 47.136 ont, depuis, recouvré la santé, 1.353 sont mortes et 13.800 sont encore sous traitement, selon le ministère de la Santé et de l’Action sociale.


S’agissant de la vaccination, 806.510 personnes ont, au moins, reçu une dose de vaccins depuis le lancement, le 23 février dernier, de la campagne nationale de vaccination contre le nouveau coronavirus, a-t-on appris par la même source.
