PÉNURIE DE CARBURANT : Kolda Dans La Tourmente

La pénurie de carburant semble plus aggravée dans la partie Sud du pays. C’est le cas à Kolda où deux station-services sur les neuf que dispose la commune sont fonctionnelles, et prises d’assaut par les motos Jakarta et autres automobiles.
Quelques jours avant, la ministre en charge du Pétrole et des Energies, Sophie Gladima, avait assuré de la disponibilité en quantité suffisante du diesel et de l’essence, estimant que les perturbations étaient liées aux lenteurs du déchargement et de l’acheminement de ces produits dans les dépôts de stockage.
« Le produit est bien disponible. Seulement, le déchargement prend un peu de temps, car le produit passe par de grands tuyaux avant de ressortir par d’autres plus petits. Une fois déchargé, il est mis dans des camions qui peuvent être retardés par les embouteillages », avait-elle expliqué.
Ce que beaucoup d’usagers viennent de réfuter parceque faisant face à une problématique qui, de surcroît, ralentit leurs activités commerciales.
‘‘Avec cette situation, on ne prend pas le risque d’aller vers les villages où nous avons des clients alors qu’en fonction de la distance une sortie peut me rapporter entre 2000 et 3000 franc CFA, un manque à gagner important’’, a regretté un conducteur de moto Jakarta. Pour ce chauffeur de transport en commun, ‘’ le carburant est indispensable pour le transport et nous avons la crainte de voir nos véhicules immobiliser faute de carburant. Je suis ici depuis des heures mais j’ai trouvé beaucoup de personnes devant moi et j’attends mon tour’’.
Une situation extrêmement difficile pour les populations de la région de Kolda, qui à travers les canaux de la presse, continuent de lancer l’alerte.
