Le gouvernement malien a annoncé avoir déjoué un coup d’Etat « soutenu par un État occidental »
Selon le communiqué signé par le ministre de l’administration territoriale et de la décentralisation, porte-parole du gouvernement, en l’occurrence le colonel Abdoulaye MAÏGA
‘‘Dans le dessein malsain de briser la dynamique de la Refondation du Mali, un groupuscule d’officiers et de sous-officiers anti-progressistes maliens a tenté un coup d’état dans la nuit du 11 au 12 Mai 2022. Ces militaires étaient soutenus par un Etat occidental. La tentative a été déjouée grâce à la vigilance et au professionnalisme des
Forces de Defense et de Sécurité du Mali.
Le Gouvernement de la République du Mali condamne avec la dernière rigueur celle indigne atteinte à la sûreté de l’Etat dont l’objectif visé est d’entraver, voire annihiler les efforts substantiels de sécurisation de notre pays et le retour à un ordre constitutionnel, gage de paix et de stabilité.
Dans le cadre de l’enquête et de la recherche des complices impliqués dans ce projet funeste, le Gouvernement de la République du Mall informe que tous les moyens nécessaires, ainsi que les mesures appropriées ont été déployés, notamment, le renforcement des contrôles aux sorties de la ville de Bamako et aux postes frontaliers du Mali. En outre, les personnes interpellées seront mises à la disposition de la justice.
Le Gouvernement de la République du Mali rassure que la situation est sous contrôle et invite les populations au calme.
