Un consensus a été finalement trouvé à l’issue de la réunion de concertation, tenue ce mardi, 6 avril, au ministère de l’Intérieur, en vue de retrouver l’unité des musulmans dans l’observation du croissant lunaire.
À l’issue de cette réunion ouverte par Antoine Félix Abdoulaye Diome, il a été décidé de mettre en place un Comité de pilotage transitoire. Le document, signé par le président du Cadre unitaire de l’islam au Sénégal (CUDIS), Cheikh Ahmed Tidiane Sy, ajoute qu’il sera co-dirigé par les différents protagonistes autour de la succession de feu Mourchid Iyane Thiam. Il s’agit d’Ahmadou Cissé Ndiéguène, Dr Mohamed Bouchra Dièye et El Hadj Oumar Diène.
« Ce comité provisoire de la CONACOC organisera, dans l’unité et pour l’intérêt des musulmans, l’observation du croissant lunaire en vue du mois de Ramadan rédempteur, et poursuivra son travail dans les mois à venir pour consolider la CONACOC et améliorer ses modalités de travail », précise la note
