En effet, la célèbre veuve de Serigne Cheikh Béthio Thioune a finalement organisé, hier, son activité religieuse au niveau de son fief, en présence d’une foule immense.
Rappelons que Sokhna Aïda Diallo comptait organiser un Thiant de grande envergure, samedi dernier, en perspective des préparatifs du grand Magal de Touba. Mais elle s’est heurtée à la détermination des Dahiras mourides qui s’opposent à la tenue de cette rencontre, selon des sources de Seneweb.
Ainsi, des « baye faal » avaient appelé à une forte mobilisation le jour J, pour faire face à Sokhna Aïda Diallo et ses disciples.
Mais le préfet de Thiès avait interdit aussi bien la tenue du Thiant d’Aïda Diallo dans la capitale du Rail que la manifestation des Dahiras mourides et des « baye faal ».
