Ces nouveaux malades proviennent de 13 cas contacts suivis par les services du ministère de la Santé et de l’Action sociale et 26 de cas communautaires dans les zones à savoir Almadies, Keur Massar, Liberté 6, Ngor, Ouakam, Cité Batrain, Cité Keur Gorgui, Derklé, Grand-Dakar, Grand-Mbao, Liberté 5, Mermoz, Sicap Foire,Thiaroye, Ziguinchor et Bignona.
Les autorités sanitaires ont déploré 1 décès lié à la Covid-19 enregistré, hier vendredi 21 mai par les autorités sanitaires.
Ils ajoutent aussi que 7 patients sont actuellement pris en charge dans les services de réanimation.
En outre, le ministère de la Santé et de l’Action sociale renseigne que 28 patients hospitalisés ont été contrôlés négatifs, donc déclarés guéris. Non sans faire remarquer que l’état de santé des autres malades est stable.
Depuis le 2 mars 2020, début de cette pandémie au Sénégal, 41062 cas positifs au coronavirus ont été notifiés dont 39768 guéris, 1130 décédés, 1 évacué (finalement décédé en France). Donc, ils sont 193 malades à être sous traitement.
En outre, 437792 personnes sont vaccinées depuis le 23 février dernier.
Par ailleurs, les agents de Santé appellent les populations au respect strict des mesures de prévention individuelle et collective à savoir le port correct et obligatoire du masque, la distanciation physique d’au moins un (1) mètre dans les lieux de rassemblements ou publics et le lavage fréquent des mains pour freiner la propagation du coronavirus.
