Le Secrétaire général du Jaraaf, Léonard Diagne, a réagi suite à la décision de la CAF de suspendre deux joueurs et le vice-président Youssou Dial. Selon lui, le club de la Médina va faire appel de la décision de la commission disciplinaire de la CAF. « Pour l’instant, nous ne jugeons pas cette sanction, nous avons tout simplement constaté qu’il y a une certaine irrégularité, une injustice dans le verdict prononcé par la CAF. Et dans ce sens-là, nous ne manquerons pas d’interjeter appel à la juridiction d’appel de la Confédération africaine de football que nous allons saisir conformément aux textes qui régissent le football », précise-t-il sur les ondes de i-Radio.
« Nous ne pouvons pas juger ces incidents, nous partons du principe que la CAF s’est appuyé sur des rapports de ces officiels pour sanctionner. Nous aussi, nous avons des éléments qui prouvent que toutes ces allégations qui ont été données par l’arbitre sont fausses », dit-il.
Leonard Diagne indique que le Jaraaf va apporter les preuves de pour démonter les allégations du corps arbitral.
