Covid-19 : 54 nouveaux cas et 0 Décès

Le ministère de la Santé et de l’Action sociale a déclaré mardi avoir recensé cinquante-quatre nouvelles contaminations de Covid-19, alors qu’aucun décès n’a été enregistré au cours des dernières 48 heures.

Les nouvelles infections proviennent de tests virologiques réalisés sur un échantillon de 1349 individus, correspondant à un taux de positivité de 4 %, indique le bulletin épidémiologique quotidien du ministère parvenu à Sunupost.

Les infections supplémentaires sont constituées de 13 cas suivis par le corps médical et 41 autres causées par la transmission communautaire.

Ces contaminations à l’origine inconnue ont été localisées dans la région de Dakar (31) et dans celles de Thiès (8), Kolda (1) et Matam (1), rapporte le document.

Il annonce dans le même temps que 39 patients avaient été contrôlés négatifs et déclarés guéris, tandis que 7 autres étaient encore dans un état grave.

Depuis son apparition au Sénégal, le 2 mars 2020, le nouveau coronavirus a infecté 41.850 personnes. A ce jour, 40.404 d’entre eux ont recouvré la santé, 1.150 en sont mortes et 295 sont encore sous traitement.

Sur le front de la vaccintaion, le ministère de la Santé et de l’Action sociale a signalé que 474.136 personnes avaient déjà reçu au moins une dose de vaccin depuis le lancement en février de la campagne nationale.
