Quatre militaires sénégalais ont été blessés, lors d’un accident qui a eu lieu ce vendredi 9 juillet 2021, vers 13 h 00.
Ce, au retour d’une mission sur l’axe Sévaré – Bankhass, situé à Mopti, au Mali. Trois ont eu des fractures et un souffre actuellement de contusions.
L’information est livrée par la Direction de l’information et des relations publiques des armées (Dirpa).
Selon le communiqué parvenu à Seneweb, un engin blindé de transport de troupes de type Puma du DETSEN10MINUSMA, a heurté un engin explosif improvisé, à 4 km au sud-ouest de Bankhass.
Les blessés ont été évacués par hélicoptère à l’hôpital de niveau 1 du contingent à Sévaré.
Le chef d’Etat-major général des armées du Sénégal adresse ses vifs encouragements au commandant du contingent sénégalais et à l’ensemble de son personnel. Il souhaite également un prompt rétablissement aux blessés.
