Le rôle de ces commissions est de procéder à l’inscription des nouveaux électeurs ; la prise en charge des demandes de changement de circonscription électorales ou d’adresse électorale ; la radiation d’électeurs décédés ; la distribution des cartes d’identité biométrique Cedeao ; le changement de statut d’un militaire ou paramilitaire.
