Les Lions sourds-muets se sont imposés face aux aigles du Mali dans un match âprement disputé. Les deux équipes ont terminé la rencontre à 10. L’unique but de la partie est inscrit sur penalty à la 25e minute par Khadim Marro. Ainsi, le Sénégal est champion d’Afrique pour la première édition.
