Les populations de Boké Dialloubé et environs ont tenu à fêter la victoire éclatante de la tête de liste départementale de Bby de Podor. Elles ont chanté, dansé, et crié pour exprimer leur joie et leur fierté, à leur mentor, après une campagne électorale remarquable menée dans les différentes localités du Département et qui a été couronnée de succès. Qu’on en juge par les chiffres : par exemple, à Boké où, Benno Bokk Yakaar (BBY) a obtenu 14539 voix soit 93,98% où toute l’opposition réunie n’a obtenu que
407 soit 6,02% des voix.
ADD, reste maître de chez lui parce que les populations lui vouent un immense respect qui est réciproque et apprécient ses actions multiformes en leur faveur depuis des décennies. Avec les populations, il a noué des liens de confiance et de fidélité, consolidés et qui, à chaque élection, se reflètent dans les urnes. Le Président Macky Sall, qui connaît parfaitement la carte électorale nationale, n’avait pas choisi par hasard Abdoulaye Daouda Diallo pour diriger la liste départementale de Podor. Ce choix politique stratégique est pertinent et les résultats du scrutin en font la démonstration incontestable. Il a permis de renforcer l’unité de tous les responsables politiques membres de BBY de Podor, autour du ministre des finances et du budget ADD. Ces responsables le respectent tous et acceptent de le suivre. La question du leadership a été ainsi résolue ; ce qui a facilité l’organisation d’une campagne sereine, marquée par une solidarité agissante de tous les 22 maires du département.
La cause politique étant déjà entendue, il restait à magnifier l’action du Président Macky Sall en faveur du département de Podor bénéficiaire de réalisations exceptionnelles, de routes modernes, de pistes de production, d’électrification rurale, de bourses de solidarité familiale, de prises en charge par la Couverture Maladie Universelle (CMU), etc. Mais aussi honoré par le choix porté sur ses fils nommés à la tête de directions de services et/ou d’agences de la République dont la dernière est celle de Moussa Sarr porté à la tête du Crous de l’université de Diamniadio.
Toute cette attention du Chef de l’Etat a donné satisfaction aux habitants de Podor, qui ont tenu à l’exprimer dans les urnes. Ils sont fiers du compagnonnage entre Abdoulaye Daouda Diallo et le Président Macky Sall.
La victoire éclatante de BBY à Podor ne surprend personne. Il en a toujours été ainsi, comme en 2012 et 2019, pour les présidentielles, en 2022, pendant les locales (toutes les mairies sont entre les mains de BBY) et pendant le référendum de 2016. ADD et Podor ont toujours répondu présents et ont gagné largement.
ADD a été tête de liste, pour le compte de BBY, pour l’ensemble du département de Podor, avec comme colistière Madame Yetta Sow, vice-présidente à l’Assemblée nationale qui a gagné dans sa commune, sans aucune bavure, et cette victoire n’a été contestée par aucune des coalitions et listes de candidats qui disputaient les suffrages des citoyens du département.
