Son entraîneur, Cheikh Guèye, s’est blessé lors des incidents qui ont émaillé le match Ndiambour-Jaraaf de la 21e journée de Ligue 1, à Louga.
« Le Jaraaf condamne fermement cet acte ignoble, qui s’oppose aux valeurs et à l’esprit du sport », ajoute le club dakarois, affirmant que ses supporters ont « subi des invectives et des jets de pierres, de même que les joueurs ».
« Tous les membres du staff, ainsi que les supporters, ont été évacués du stade grâce à l’encadrement des forces de l’ordre dont nous saluons avec respect la promptitude et le professionnalisme », poursuit le communiqué, assurant, par ailleurs, que Cheikh Guèye « se porte mieux ».
Le responsable de la communication du Ndiambour, Doudou Diop, tout en disant déplorer les incidents survenus au stade Alboury-Ndiaye, a fustigé la qualité de l’arbitrage du match. »L’arbitre a refusé trois penaltys pour le Ndiambour et a sifflé un penalty pour le Jaraaf », a-t-il dit au quotidien Record, soutenant que « le Ndiambour n’est pas responsable de ce qui s’est passé ».
Le journal Record affirme que Cheikh Guèye « a été gravement blessé et évacué à l’hôpital ».
Le Jaraaf, troisième au classement de la Ligue 1, est désormais deuxième, grâce à la victoire (1-0) obtenue lors de ce match émaillé de nombreux incidents. La rencontre a été suspendue plusieurs fois à cause d’affrontements entre supporters et dirigeants des deux clubs. APS
