La seule urgence de la RV est d’être à la hauteur de ses convictions ; et elle ne saurait s’y soustraire, parce que composée de patriotes détachés, lucides, tempérants, sereins et réfractaires aux émotions négatives. Son leader Thierno Alassane Sall n’a jamais su tenir sa tête qu’autrement haute et n’a jamais varié dans ses opinions. Il ne connait ni les pirouettes politiques, ni la supercherie, ni l’humiliation de la honte. Il a toujours eu la prétention d’être utile à ses compatriotes et s’il ne représente pas aujourd’hui un danger pour les honnêtes gens et pour les fonctionnaires consciencieux qui servent fidèlement la République, il l’est pour les autres, aussi bien dans le domaine administratif que dans le champ politique. Son Clan à lui, c’est le Sénégal, son Maitre après DIEU, c’est la Nation ; ses passages à l’ARTP, au ministère des infrastructures et des transports et à celui de l’énergie l’illustrant éloquemment.
