La sûreté urbaine du commissariat central de Dakar a interpellée deux individus pour détention et trafic de chanvre indien et association de malfaiteurs.
Tout est parti d’un renseignement opérationnel signalant un trafic actif à Pikine Guinaw-Rails. Une équipe d’intervention a alors été dépêchée sur le terrain, où un premier suspect a été arrêté en possession de 5 kg de chanvre indien. L’exploitation de ses aveux a conduit les enquêteurs jusqu’à Ngekhokh, où le fournisseur présumé a été interpellé avec 25 kg supplémentaires de drogue.
Les deux hommes ont été placés en garde à vue et l’enquête se poursuit.
