Ce vendredi après-midi dans son discours d’adieux à l’ancien international sénégalais, le président de la République Macky Sall a annoncé que le nouveau Musée du football du futur stade de Diamniadio sera érigé au nom de Pape Bouba Diop

La décision de baptiser le Musée national du football du Stade du Sénégal en construction à Diamniadio, dans le département de Rufisque, a été annoncé par le chef de l’Etat lors de l’hommage national rendu à Pape Bouba Diop, décédé dimanche en France à l’âge de 42 ans.
« Pour honorer ta mémoire, j’ai décidé de t’élever à titre posthume au Grade d’Officier de l’Ordre national du Lion. Je vais aussi offrir ton nom au Musée du football qui sera érigé au Stade du Sénégal à Diamniadio », déclare Macky Sall.
