Menaces Sur Les médias : Les Mises En Garde Du Synpics

Depuis un certain temps, des attaques, sans fondement aucun, surviennent contre les médias. Dans un communiqué parvenu à Seneweb, le Syndicat des professionnels de l’information et de la communication du Sénégal (Synpics) invite «les médias qui font l’objet de menace à porter plainte officiellement».  Ainsi, le secrétaire général du Synpics encourage les confrères et consœurs à faire leur travail d’informer les populations en toute honnêteté et en toute responsabilité, sans aucune peur, si ce n’est de se laisser manipuler. Bamba Kassé appelle les journalistes à rester vigilants et demande au Comité d’observation des règles d’éthique et de déontologie (Cored) de leur rappeler les règles immuables qui gouvernent le métier d’informer. Par ailleurs, le Synpics «enjoint tout citoyen qui se sent diffamé, d’user des voies qu’offre le droit positif sénégalais, les journalistes n’étant pas au-dessus des lois, même dans l’exercice de leur noble métier».
