Le coronavirus reprend ses aises. Au Sénégal, la 3ème vague a commencé a dicté sa loi. Le communiqué numéro 496 sur l’évolution de la pandémie de la Covid-19 au Sénégal, du ministère de la Santé et de l’Action sociale a annoncé 380 nouvelles personnes testées positives au coronavirus sur un échantillon de 2762 tests. Ainsi, un taux de positivité de 13,76% est noté suite à ces résultats des examens virologiques.
205 cas communautaires à Dakar et 39 dans les autres régions
Ces tests positifs sont répartis entre 136 cas contacts suivis par les services dudit ministère et 244 cas issus de la transmission communautaire. Ce second groupe de nouveaux infectés est répertorié dans la région de Dakar avec 205 cas (107 dans le département de Dakar, 42 à Pikine, 25 à Keur Massar, 21 à Pikine et 10 à Guédiawaye) et 39 dans les autres régions ( 8 à Mbour, 4 à Matam, Podor et Thiès, 3 à Ranérou et Ziguinchor, 2 à Bignona, Kaolack et Touba, 1 à Bambey, Ndioum, Joal, Ourossogui, Pout, Richard-Toll et Sédhiou).
Mieux, les services du ministère d’indiquer que 16 cas graves sont actuellement pris en charge dans les services de réanimation.
Le bilan macabre s’alourdit de jour en jour. 3 décès supplémentaires liés à la Covid-19 ont été enregistrés hier vendredi 9 juillet. D’où un total de 1190 morts dénombrés depuis l’apparition de la pandémie au Sénégal, le 2 mars dernier.
La barre des 45000 contaminations dépassée
Cependant, 112 patients hospitalisés été contrôlés négatifs à deux reprises dans un intervalle de 48 heures, donc déclarés guéris. Mieux, rassure-t-on, l’état de santé des autres malades est stable.
A ce jour, le Sénégal a enregistré 45646 cas positifs au coronavirus dont 42202 personnes guéries, 1 évacué (finalement décédé en France) et 2253 malades à être sous traitement.
