Cheikh Omar Diagne va prendre son mal en patience. Son déferrement annoncé ce mardi 5 avril, n’a pas pu être effectif. 
 
D’après son avocat, Me Cheikh Khoureyssi Ba, la police a été instruite de garder Cheikh Oumar Diagne pour la nuit, aux fins de son déferrement demain mercredi 6 avril. « Il va passer la nuit au commissariat du Plateau », informe Me Ba.
 
Cheikh Omar Diagne fait l’objet d’une plainte du député Djibril War pour diffamation et injures. Le mis en cause était depuis ce matin dans les locaux de la Division des investigations criminelles (Dic) afin d’être présenté au procureur.
