OFFENSIVE CONTRE SALIF SADIO ET SA BANDE : L’armée Intensifie Les Attaques

L’armée nationale sénégalaise ne faiblit pas la pression contre les rebelles du Mfdc, en Casamance. En effet, dans le nord-Sindian, l’armée a poussé son offensive contre Salif Sadio et ses hommes jusque dans leurs cachettes situées dans les forêts de Djibidione (département de Bignona).
Dans leur progression, informe Libération, les Jambaars ont pilonné à l’arme lourde les bases rebelles qui jadis, étaient placées sous le contrôle de Paul Aloukassine Basséne, «lieutenant» de Salif Sadio. Il s’agit des bases rebelles de Niombolong, de Médiédiate et Oupeute. Elles ont été presque réduites en cendres par les militaires lourdement armés.
Toujours selon nos confrères de IGFM, le chef rebelle Salif Sadio est, lui, introuvable après les intenses bombardements de l’armée dans le nord-Sindian. Bombardements qui ont occasionné la destruction de toutes ses positions. Il aurait été aperçu dans sa fuite vers la zone de Djibidione. «L’armée va poursuivre Salif Sadio et l’acculer partout où il se cache. Elle ne laissera plus jamais les bandes armées se réorganiser pour martyriser les paisibles citoyens. Le temps est venu pour ramener la paix en Casamance», informe une source de Libération
