L’accès à ux cimetières catholiques de Dakar est désormais réglementé. Le comité de gestion a pris des mesures restrictives afin d’éviter, au maximum, la contamination au coronavirus.
Les effets dus à la 3ème vague du coronavirus obligent. Et face au nombre de cas de contaminations auquel le Sénégal fait face depuis plus d’un mois, le comité de gestion des cimetières catholiques de l’archidiocèse de Dakar a pris de nouvelles mesures pour les inhumations dans les cimetières de Saint Lazare et Bel-Air. Ce, à l’effet, de contenir la pandémie dans la capitale, épicentre du virus au Sénégal.
Dans un communiqué, le comité de gestion informe qu’il est désormais interdit, ce, jusqu’à nouvel ordre, « l’accès aux deux cimetières » à toute personne autre que les membres des personnes décédés. A défaut, le nombre autorisé d’accès est « strictement et uniquement autorisé à 25 personnes et le temps de l’inhumation fixé à 30 mn ». Mieux, le communiqué indique aussi qu’à cet effet, « l’exposition mortuaire » qui était jusque-là publique et accessible aux parents, amis et connaissances, est aussi « interdite ainsi que la présentation des condoléances aux cimetières » qui se fait sur une longue file.
« Les personnes autorisées à accéder aux cimetières devront respecter l’obligation du port correct du masque, la distanciation sociale, le lavage des mains avec de l’eau et du savon ou avec du gel hydroalcoolique et les consignes des agents choisis pour aider à mettre de l’ordre durant les enterrements », recommandé ledit document.
Selon les auteurs du communiqué, ces nouvelles mesures sont applicables dès sa publication dans les différentes paroisses de la capitale.
