Madiambal Diagne a mis fin au rumeur de sa fuite. Il a annoncé dans son réseau X qu’il est parti à Paris le 24 septembre dernier. Il souligne qu’il va bientôt revenir pour amener les documents qui prouve son innocence.
Pour rappel, le patron de la société Avenir Communication, le journaliste Madiambal Diagne, etait activement recherché par les services de sécurité après avoir ignoré une convocation de la Division des investigations criminelles (Dic).
Son dossier a pris une tournure majeure mercredi lorsqu’il ne s’est pas présenté à la Dic, où les policiers devaient lui notifier une simple ordonnance d’interdiction de sortie du territoire. Cette convocation faisait suite à son interception, la veille, par la Police de l’air et des frontières (Paf) à l’aéroport, alors qu’il s’apprêtait à embarquer pour Paris.
Face à son absence et aux fortes suspicions de fuite, les enquêteurs se sont rendus à son domicile sur autorisation du juge du premier cabinet financier, sans toutefois le trouver. Toutes les tentatives pour le localiser étant restées infructueuses, les services compétents ont émis un avis de recherche et d’arrestation et ont lancé une vaste opération pour le retrouver.
Selon les médias, cette affaire prend sa 
source dans un rapport de la Cellule nationale de traitement des informations financières (CENTIF) qui impliquerait Madiambal Diagne dans une opération suspecte d’un montant de 21 milliards de FCFA.
Dans le sillage de cette disparition, son épouse, présentée comme la gérante de l’une de ses sociétés, a été placée en garde à vue, selon des informations parues ce jeudi.
