COMMUNIQUE DE SENELEC
Les médias ont rendu public un communiqué du Club des Investisseurs Sénégalais (CIS) daté du 14 mai 2020, lequel apporte son soutien à Akilee dans le différend l’opposant à Senelec.
Senelec estime d’abord que l’objectivité aurait voulu que le Club des Investisseurs Sénégalais, avant de prendre position pour Akilee, s’adresse à elle pour une bonne maîtrise des contours du différend.
Ce qui n’a pas été le cas.
Senelec observe ensuite qu’elle ne se laissera pas entrainer dans un débat qui n’a comme objectif que d’éluder le véritable problème qui oppose les parties et lequel n’a rien à voir avec une question de patriotisme économique.
La position de Senelec n’est motivée que par le respect des principes de liberté d’accès à la commande publique, d’égalité de traitement des candidats et de transparence des procédures.
Senelec rappelle que la préférence nationale suppose aussi que les parties au contrat respectent la loi et que les intérêts de Senelec et du Sénégal soient préservés.
Senelec précise enfin que convoquer la loi n°2014-09 du 20/02/2014 relative aux contrats de partenariat (PPP) pour soutenir Akilee relève d’une grave méprise dans la mesure où cette loi ne s’applique nullement au secteur de l’énergie.
Senelec, en tant que société anonyme à participation publique majoritaire, donc patrimoine national gérant le service public de l’électricité, respectera la loi dans son fonctionnement.
